Two recent items on the same topic caught my attention today.
The first: an article from Popular Scientist"

The second: a video from IMPO:
"Writing E-mails with Your Mind."Now, I don't know if there's any realistic (environmental?) benefit to be derived from a bunch of people in Vancouver trying to light up Niagara Falls, but helping a woman with ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease) to communicate with the only muscles she is still able to move -- her eyebrows...
...well, that's a real social benefit! And the video further demonstrates how the reporter brought a simple word to life using only her thoughts, something the woman stricken with ALS will likely need to use a short time from now.
