Turning cow manure into energy -- what's not to like?
The waste from 4,000 cows in the Ukraine is converted into biogas. Not only does the biogas heat and power a milk plant even during severe winter conditions at -25°C to -30°C (-13°F to -22°F), it sells power to the grid, reduces the greenhouse gases it would have generated using conventional energy and the remains from the biogas digester can be used as agricultural fertilizer.
As I said, what's not to like?
